FREE Virtual Health Conference

The future of health care delivery in the region and the State of Emanate Health will be among the topics discussed at the "COVID-19 & The San Gan Gabriel Valley" free, virtual health conference. Emanate Health CEO Rob Curry will provide a snap shot of what the health care system did in response to the global pandemic, share the learnings of how the dynamic nature of the situation affected the ability to consistently handle and anticipate every need--from patients to staff to community.

"The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on the operations of hospitals and health care systems across the country. At Emanate Health, it forced our three hospitals to change our patient-care priorities, try various treatment plans, and procure more medical equipment and supplies to protect everyone and address the need in our communities," Curry said.

One of the learnings from the pandemic has been the increased use of  telehealth, which has influenced patient-care delivery, now that people are becoming more comfortable using Zoom and other similar technologies. Emanate Health is also making physical upgrades to each of the hospitals to address the future of health care delivery for the one million people in the region.
