About Us

The La Verne-San Dimas Woman's Club is a member of the the San Gabriel Valley District of Women's Clubs, California Federation and General Federation of Women's Clubs, the world's largest and oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational volunteer service organization of women. We encourage anyone interested in doing philanthropic work and at the same time making new friends to come to one of our meetings.
With nearly 90,000 members in every state, the District of Columbia, and more than a dozen countries, GFWC Clubs and clubwomen are the fabric that binds not only the Federation, but the communities in which they live and work. Members work in their own communities to support the arts, preserve natural resources, advance education, promote healthy lifestyles, encourage civic involvement, and work toward world peace and understanding. GFWC, its clubs and members remain committed as serving as a force for global good, as it has done since its formation over 125 years ago.
