How to become a Habitat Homeowner meetings scheduled

Are you looking for an opportunity to purchase a decent, affordable home? Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity is pleased to invite you to attend an informational meeting to learn about Habitat for Humanity Homeownership.
Informational meetings will be held to explain the program and to take initial applications. Please contact the PV Habitat office at 909- 596-7098 to RSVP for one of the informational meetings.
Thursday December 20th, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Saturday December 22th, 29th, Jan 5 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

You will need to bring to the meeting, your driver’s license, a social security card, proof of legal residency and a cashier check or money order payable to PVHFH (Pomona Valley Habitat for Humanity) in the amount of $15 for one applicant and $25 for EACH additional applicant. This fee is for credit check purposes.
Families currently living in the Pomona Valley Habitat service area are eligible to apply. Pomona Valley Habitat serves the cities of CHINO, CHINO HILLS, CLAREMONT, COVINA, DIAMOND BAR, GLENDORA, LA PUENTE, LA VERNE, MONTCLAIR, ONTARIO, POMONA, RANCHO CUCAMONGA, SAN DIMAS, UPLAND, WALNUT and WEST COVINA. Applications are available on our website, habitatpv.org, All application forms for this home must be received on or before January 11th, 2019.
- Must be a US citizen or legal resident
- At least ONE resident of this home must be 62 years or older
- Open to residents of our 16 city area (see attached list)
- Must not own any real estate, First Time Homebuyers
- Income must fall between 30% and 50% of area mean income limits
- Must have fairly good credit, and no liens or judgments
- Must make a $2,500 payment toward sales costs
- Must qualify to pay on a 30-year, no interest loan
- Each applicant MUST complete 250 hours of sweat equity
